As the risk of cyberattacks  has been increasing, it is not surprising that security is at the top of the list of MSP benefits.

There was a 38% increase in  cyberattacks in 2014-2015  according to PricewaterhouseCoopers, and 43% of  cyberattacks  reportedly target small businesses, according to Symantec.

Will the MSP replace your in house IT Team? 

Organizations worry that hiring an MSP will leave their existing IT team obsolete. However, this is not what data shows.

According to  CompITA,  53% of organizations that use MSPs retained their existing internal IT department, 15% did not have an internal IT department to begin with, and only 6% actually replaced some of their internal IT employees.

Instead, the MSP allows the organization’s internal IT department to focus on more strategic projects that drive business growth and  revenue,  and thus, can keep the department running smoothly.
